Educational specialists / supplementary staff (for U3/Ü3/forest group) (m/f/d)

From 01.06.2025 we are looking for pedagogical specialists and supplementary staff (for U3/Ü3/forest group) in full and part time!

MyDagis is a bilingual daycare center (German/English) with locations in Cologne Sürth and Bocklemünd, where we care for children from 0 to 6 years. Our special, sustainable concept based on Scandinavian models focuses on forest education (forest days and nature projects as well as our own forest group with a daycare construction trailer), vegetarian/vegan nutrition (freshly cooked meals from our own kitchen every day), a cultural program (e.g. theater and museum visits), changing additional activities (such as yoga, ballet, music, theater) and animal-assisted education (daycare dog and daycare chickens). Another important focus of our work is gender-sensitive education, for which we offer regular training courses.

Tasks

• coordination of pedagogical and organizational work in the team
• documentation of educational work
• management of a group, if a corresponding assignment has been given
• supervision of the assigned pedagogical specialists and supplementary staff
• observation and documentation of the child’s developmental steps
• regular discussions with parents
• planning, implementation and follow-up of events for parents and/or children
• responsible use and accounting of the funds provided
• general data collection (in particular booking and attendance lists)
• responsible supervision of interns after delegation by the management
• cooperation with counseling centers and schools in consultation with the management
• informing the management about events with children and parents
• implementation of the pedagogical concept
• active participation in the organization and implementation of team meetings

Qualification

• pedagogical specialist (educator, curative educator, curative education nurse, childhood educator, social worker, social pedagogue, etc.)
• or supplementary educational worker (childcare worker, social education assistant, social assistant, curative education assistant, crèche teacher, after-school care worker, etc.)
• or student/graduate of a pedagogical degree program (educational science, social work, curative/rehabilitation/special/childhood/social pedagogy, etc.)
• or training/studies in similar professions (speech therapist, motor therapist, theater/music/sports/art teacher, psychologist, primary school teacher, health/children’s nurse, etc.)
• enjoy working with children from 0 to 6 years of age
• independent and self-reflective behavior
• work according to children’s rights and our protection concept
• willingness to participate in further training
• bring your own ideas and enjoy creating
• educational work and documentation
• a friendly, positive charisma
• professional and social competence as well as reliability
